Altamont Court Hotel was established in 1982, located at 1-5 Altamont Terrace in New Kingston; the hotel opened with 12 rooms and has expanded to 58 rooms. Altamont West was established in 2006, opened with 22 rooms expanded to 31 rooms, a pool, a conference room, located at 33 Gloucester Avenue in Montego Bay. There are 4 shops consisting of a spa and a craft store.
Offerings & Future Plans
Altamont currently offers a variety of accommodation options such as the Deluxe, Economy, and Executive Rooms, and suites. Each room at Altamont Court is fully air-conditioned, elegantly appointed, and fitted with modern amenities such as cable television, safety deposit box, mini-fridge, microwave, a phone equipped with voicemail system, and coffee and tea-making facilities. A hearty Jamaican or American-style breakfast, free parking, wireless internet access throughout the property, and tax are all included in the room rate.
Altamont Hotels Group seeks to expand their operations and increase their value offerings to their guests by acquiring additional real estate to increase capacity with additional rooms and facilities, as well as renovation of the current properties.
